-Six Mile Red Angus :: Cow Herd

Six Mile Ranch currently runs a cow herd of around 300 head of Registered Red Angus cows and a herd of 50 Registered Black Angus cows. Our breeding program has always focused on a powerful maternal cow herd. We focus on conformation, structure and production in our cows. We like our females to be moderate, easy keeping, excellent uddered females with the capacity and natural muscling to do well on the range. We feel we have a herd of good cows not just a few elite females. The females shown here are those that have come to the forefront of our herd.

The Serebl Cow Family
Picture perfect females with proven production records! The Serebl cow family name has been with Six Mile ranch from the very beginning. The matriarch of the current females is Red Symbrae Serebl 48B who worked in our herd until the Fall of 2006 when she died of old age at 14 1/2 years.
The Queen Cow Family
The Queen cow family is anchored by the prolific Red BRA Riser 65Y daughter, Queen 48E. This cow does everything right and her daughters are exceptional.
The Lassie Cow Family
Producing Longevity! The Lassie cow family matriarch is 307C. She is still producing in our herd (2007) and is sound as ever. The longevity and proven production in this cow family makes these Lassie females very valuable at the Six Mile Ranch.
